The watercrafts operating in the Port
The Port of Ashdod operates several watercrafts, including tugboats, pilot-boats and service boats, all available for the service of the ships anchored in the Port.
Cranes and carrying ability on the piers
On the Port’s piers are spread out heavy engineering vehicles, the most conspicuous ones are the cranes and derricks. The state of the art mechanical equipment is controled by complex systems requiring knowhow and great experience.
TOS System
The TOS System performs dock coordination, actual loading and unloading management in accordance with the ship’s layout and the supervision of work rate, identification and solution of operating problems.
Bulk Facility
Three of the piers of the Port of Ashdod serve for the conveying of bulk cargo and various types of liquids.
The Ports hinterland
The Ports hinterland, including customers offices, railroad station, bonded warehouses and various cargos, icehouses and other service facilities.
The Visitors Center at Ashdod Port
The Visitors’ Center is a meeting point between the Port and its customers as well as the public. The Visitors’ Center opens a window to information about the current activity and multi disciplinary activity of the Port and its central role in the Israeli Economy.
