Ashdod Port is inviting Israeli startups to join the port's innovation program in 2024. The program is intended for startups from all sectors that are relevant to the shipping and maritime transportation industry, from logistics and supply chains to cyber and the environment. All startups are welcome to register by January 15, 2023. After this date the companies who will enter the program will be selected.
Ashdod Port's innovation incubator, managed by Roy Avrahami, offers startups guidance from innovation agents who have experience integrating technologies at the port, in addition to a unique opportunity to use the port's facilities for field testing of their technology. Aside from the business and technological support, the startups will have the opportunity to conduct a proof of concept for their technology, on the premises of the port and at the locations where Ashdod Port has representatives around the globe. This allows the entrepreneurs to implement their ideas and methods, demonstrating the usefulness of their technology. Ashdod Port has innovation partnerships with the Port of Barcelona and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the Port of Tampa, the Port of New Orleans, the Port of Thessaloniki, and the Maersk shipping company.
In addition, Ashdod Port offers startups who participate in the program, the option to present their technology to potential buyers and investors, including our innovation partners at ports around the globe and large international organizations. Furthermore, by participating in the program, the companies will be candidates to receive funding from Ashdod Port.
