Singapore's ambassador to Israel, Mr. Ian Mak, visited Ashdod Port to promote strategic international collaboration between Ashdod Port and Singapore, with a focus on innovation, acceleration processes and joint investments in startup companies.
The meeting was attended by Shaul Schneider, Chairman of the Board of Ashdod Port, Eli Bar-Yosef, Acting CEO of Ashdod Port, and Roy Avrahami, Director of the Innovation Department.
The visit is a key element of the port's innovation strategy, with the goal of expanding the range of activity of Ashdod Port's technology incubator, which has been operating since 2021. By opening up innovation offices representing Ashdod Port at other ports and research entities around the globe. Ashdod Port is already collaborating successfully through its representatives in New York, New Jersey, Barcelona, Florida, the Port of Santos in Brazil and the Port of Thessaloniki.
