Chairman of the Board at the Coral Conference

Shaul Schneider, Chairman of the Ashdod Port Board, participated in the annual Grain Conference led by Coral Sea, a shipping and maritime services company.  At the conference Shaul Schneider told Danny Kushmaro that “Ashdod Port is Israel's national port. We are readying for privatization in the first quarter of 2025 in conjunction with our partners in the Companies Authority, and preparing for an issue of 49% of the company's shares which will transfer into a company traded on the stock exchange This will increase the company's capital base, reinforce it, and provide it with financial robustness, enabling continued investments."

He further added that “we are planning over the coming year to implement dock investments for a scope of NIS. 300 million, which include designated docks 7 and 9 for general cargo with the objective of improving outputs and allowing the port to specialize by segmentation."
