Ashdod Port is running a program aimed at creating technological solutions in the field of sea freight. DockTech, which develops solutions for measuring ocean depth in real time, has commenced its innovative pilot at the port. DockTech's data based technology enables loading ships more safely and producing higher outputs.
DockTech has already begun its innovative pilot and installed its product on a tow boat and Pilot boat. Installing their technology enables closely following the movement of sea vessels and collecting depth data while in transit. The data will be entered into the data base, which the company will use to set up a smart algorithm that allows measuring real time depth. This is a breakthrough solution in the maritime world and likely to make port work in Israel and internationally easier and more efficient.
Other companies are currently in processes of being accepted for collaborative innovative pilots, positioning Ashdod Port at the front line of Israeli and international technology!
