| Further to the announcement made on June 6, 2012 (the "Original Announcement") with respect to the Tender, Ashdod Port Company ("APC") wishes to inform of amendments to the Original Announcement, as follows:
- Section 4.7 shall be added to the Pre-requisites in the Original Announcement as follows:
"The WRC's proposed by Proposer has the required certification from the Standards Institution of Israel,
or,
Proposer declares that the WRC's proposed by him shall have the required certification from the Standards Institution of Israel, to each type of WRC included in each delivery."
- The last date set for submission of the Proposals, as specified in Section 6 to the Original Announcement, is hereby postponed to Wednesday, August 15, 2011 at 14:00 IL time.
- All other provisions included in the Original Announcement remain the same.

- Pursuant to the Mandatory Tenders Law, 1992 and the Mandatory Tenders Regulations, Ashdod Port Company Ltd. ("APC“) hereby invites proposals ("Proposals") from manufacturers or from Authorized distributors of manufacturers of the Proposed Wire Ropes for Cranes (the "Proposer(s)") for the supply of:
Wire Ropes for Cranes of varied kinds as specified in the Technical Specification of the Tender (hereinafter the "WRC").
- APC may recognize Proposals submitted by affiliated companies to the manufacturers of WRC, subject to the provisions included in section 4 hereinbelow.
- The agreement to be signed with the selected proposer shall be for a period of 12 months as of signature. APC shall have the option, at its sole discretion, to extend the period of the agreement for a period or accumulating periods of up to four (4) additional years.
- Pre-requisites
Proposers who maintain all conditions as follows will be entitled to participate in this Tender:
4.1. Manufacture of WRC with diameter of at least 40mm as of 1.1.2009;
In the event the Proposer is an authorized distributor of the manufacturer of the proposed WRC, the Proposer shall prove compliance by the manufacturer of the above pre-requisite; and
4.2. Supply of WRC of the proposed manufacture, to at least two (2) ports, in Israel or worldwide, as of 1.1.2011; and
4.3. Supply of WRC of the proposed manufacture, of at least 2,000 meters, per year, during the last 5 years (2007-2011); and
4.4. Authorized distributors must maintain the following pre-requisite in addition to all other pre-requisites:
Proposer is authorized by the manufacturer of the proposed WRC to distribute the proposed WRC in Israel; and
4.5. Israeli Authorized distributors or Israeli manufacturers must maintain the following pre-requisite in addition to all other pre-requisites:
Proposer has submitted all certifications required according to the Public Corporations' Transactions Law, 1976as specified in the Tender; and
4.6. Compliance with the Technical Specifications of the Tender specified in the Technical Specifications;
Regarding compliance with preconditions of sections 4.1-4.3, excluding Proposers which are authorized distributors, APC may recognize, at the APC Tender Committee's sole discretion, such conditions as fulfilled by Affiliated Companies of the Proposer and/or by companies that have been sold to and/or merged into the Proposer, insofar as this took place before issue of this Tender, as being fulfilled by the Proposer itself. “Affiliated Company” means a company wholly owned by the Proposer, or the Proposer's parent company, or other affiliated companies of the Proposer which are to be approved by APC Tender Committee at it sole discretion and subject to any conditions which the APC Tender Committee shall decide to apply.
- The Tender documents are available as of Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at the chamber of the head of Procurement Department, Equipment Department Building, 1st floor, Port of Ashdod ,Israel following payment of 250 NIS, including VAT, not refundable, at APC's accounting department.
- Proposals should be submitted not later than Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 14:00 IL Time.
Proposals should be submitted during ordinary working hours (08:00-16:00 IL time) to the Tender Box, at the chamber of the head of Equipment Procurement Department, Equipment Department Building, 1st floor, Port of Ashdod.
- APC is not obligated to accept the most inexpensive proposal or any other proposal. APC reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to re-advertise or to cancel the invitation for Proposals process.
- WRC of Israeli manufacture as defined in the Mandatory Tenders Regulations (Preference to Israeli Products) 1995, shall receive preference in accordance and subject to such regulations.
- Proposer whose business is being controlled by a woman shall be preferred in this Tender, in accordance with and subject to Section 2B to the Mandatory Tenders Law, 1992.
- APC reserves the right to purchase the WRC from one or more Proposers, according to APC's consideration and needs.
