Ashdod Port Company entered BDI and TheMarker's "Best 50 companies to work in" rating, for the first time.

Ashdod Port Company entered BDI and The Marker's "Best 50 companies to work in" rating for the first time this year, the rating's six consecutive year, and was rated on the 42nd place on the list. Ashdod Port Company was one of three governmental companies to enter the list, alongside the Electricity Company and Mekorot Company. The survey holders indicate that one of the most important parameters for the Israeli employee in choosing its workplace are salary conditions (coming first), followed by occupational stability, company's strength,  work relationships, and professional promotion.  

According to major general (retired) Ya'akov Raz, Head of Ashdod Port Company directorate, "Ashdod Port Company continues to prove it is the largest, strongest, most profiting port company in Israel. We managed to enter the best 50 workplaces of the year for a reason. Ashdod Port Company is being granted with impressive ratings under the various rating lists each year, such as BDI and Dun's, and I am very proud that this year we found ourselves in this list as well, allocated in this honorable rating. We will do as much as possible in order to ensure our position will even improve".

Shuki Sagis, CEO of Ashdod Port Company, said that "the findings presented by the rating administration indicate that the Israeli workers currently tend to find large, well-established, branded companies, which explains the entrance of Ashdod Port Company to this list, being a leading economic gate in the state of Israel. We have been increasing our efforts to ensure the workers' satisfaction for a long time now, out of the understanding that the basis for a profiting and succeeding port lies in the satisfaction of our employees. We will continue with our efforts for creation of inspiring, satisfying work environment".
