According to Shuki Sagis, the CEO of the Port of Ashdod, “The year 2007, was a very successful year for the Port of Ashdod. During this year, we succeeded to solve many obstacles in the operational chain, enabling a continuous and more efficient work from the operational aspect. During the past several years we see a continued growth of the Port’s activity following the expansion of activity to leading international activity lines, activation of the Port of Eitan, renewing the passenger ships traffic and the growth in the vehicles import activity in the Port. I expect that the year 2008 will also be a successful year, and even better than that.”
