Process prior to sailing
In order to provide the passenger with the fastest and most efficient service, the passenger is provided with an explanation of the stations and stage he can expect on his way to vacation;
Parking lot and shuttle
The Port offers the passenger organized air-conditioned shuttle service from the parking lot to the passenger terminal, and upon return from the vacation, the shuttle takes the passenger back to the parking lot.
Upon boarding the shuttle, the passenger is required to present to the security person his passport and a confirmation of his cruise order.
Entry into the port by private vehicles is prohibited.
Arrival at the passenger terminal
Upon arrival at the terminal, the passenger must pick-up his luggage and enters the terminal for check-in, security check, border control and finally boarding the ship.
The check-in and security check process
Upon entering the terminal, the passenger will turn to his left to the ticketing counters, holding his passport and order confirmation.
Each passenger must personally be present at the check-in counter, including children under the age of 18. At this station, a security check is performed; the luggage is checked-in, and transferred to the ship where it will be waiting for the passenger. At the end of the process a boarding card is issued, it is attached to the passport and it indicates the cabin number assigned to the passenger.
Currency exchange and cafeteria
A cafeteria for the enjoyment of the passenger is available in the passenger terminal; it offers a selection of foods and beverages, and a currency exchange counter.
Transfer to the departure terminal
After receiving the boarding card, the passenger passes to the departure terminal thru the “quick passageway”. The boarding card must be placed before the optical reader located in the passageway, and the gate will open.
Passport stamping at border control
In the process of departure from
Israel on the way abroad, each passenger is required to go thru the border control of the Israeli police, at the end of the process the passport is stamped with an “Exit” stamp.
Duty-free shops
For the convenience of the passengers there are two duty-free shops offering a wide variety of products attractively priced. Access to the shops is after passport control and in accordance with the signage.
Receiving cabins on board the ship
Upon boarding the ship, the ship’s crew at the reception counter, welcomes the passengers and directs him to the room assigned for him.

The procedure for disembarking the ship is in the following order;

Customs inspection in two lanes: The red lane – if the passenger has goods to declare The green lane – if the passenger has nothing to declare
The port of Ashdod provides the organized shuttle back to the car parking lot outside the port.
